MY NAME IS PEDRO MIRANDA…
Pedro co-leads the Creator Economy Business Development team at the Solana Foundation. He frequently pitches large brands on accelerating Web3 initiatives. He manages investments and grants to open-source projects, public goods, robust products, and innovative new ideas building on the Solana blockchain. He represents the Solana Foundation at global events. Additionally, Pedro is an advisor and angel investor in the ecosystem to teams, spanning from data infrastructure, to security coordination.
In February of 2020, he graduated from Middlebury College where studying International Politics & Economics, minored in Psychology, and focused in Spanish. He founded the Middlebury Blockchain Club, the first liberal arts blockchain initiative. Additionally, he authored two blockchain projects including Central Bank Digital Currency: A Sunset Solution for the Next Crisis.
In July of 2020, he joined Silicon Valley Bank's Associate Development Program. The summers of 2018 and 2019 he was a business analyst at ConsenSys, a global blockchain production studio, on the Solutions and Policy teams. At ConsenSys, he specialized in Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs), social impact projects, and Asia-Pacific blockchain initiatives.
